It is a well characterized safety studied poly antibiotic resistant strain.
It survives transit through the acidic environment of the stomach, bile condition of duodenum and colonizes the intestine even in the presence of antibiotics.
Clinical trials conducted in adult subjects found Bacillus Clausii to be effective and safe in the treatment and prevention of acute diarrhea.
In one of the phase II clinical trials of Bacillus Clausii in 27 adult patients with acute diarrhea, no significant change in safety parameters was observed and concluded, it is potentially be effective in alleviating the symptoms of diarrhea without causing any adverse effects.
